Members of the VJC Calligraphy Club took part in the "16th World Calligraphy Itinerant Grand Exhibition cum Competition 2012" and clinched 2 Gold, 2 Silver and 4 Bronze awards.

The VJC Dance Club won first placings in three categories - the IDO Jazz Adult Cup, Russian Cup Street Showdance Adult Small Group as well as Russian Cup Street Showdance Adult Formation. They are placed second for the Russian Cup Showdance Adult Formation. Hip hop duo Lim Xi (11S38) and Ei Yue Long (12S51) emerged 3rd in the category.

2 works by students received awards for the SYF Arts & Crafts competition 2012.

Tang Lixing Lesley (10A15) received a Gold and Jolene Cheng Joo-Lynn (09A15) got a Bronze.

Goh Yi Ling from 12A13 has done the nation proud by achieving her personal best of 5.24m and clinching a silver medal for long jump at the 7th SEA Youth Athletics Championships.

The VJC IP debaters participated in the Julia Gabriels Singapore
Secondary Schools Championship and got to the Quarterfinals.

Angie Ong from 11V13 and Victoria Seow from 12V13 made it to the "top ten best speakers" list, clinching the 2nd and 8th place respectively.
