Q1: Does VJC accept DSA applicants through Leadership?

A: Leadership is NOT one of the selection criteria for DSA as we are looking for talents in academics, sports and performing arts. Nevertheless, you could apply to VJC using your O-level results through the Joint Admission Exercise conducted by MOE immediately after the release of the O-level results.

Q2: Does VJC have any preferred areas of talent for the direct school admission exercise?

A: Any one or a combination of the following three are preferred.

     Academics

     Performing Arts

• Chinese Orchestra
• Choir
• Dance
• Guitar Ensemble
• String Ensemble
• Symphonic Band

     Sports

•  Badminton
•  Basketball
•  Cross Country
•  Hockey
•  Floorball
•  Golf
•  Sailing
•  Softball
•  Soccer
•  Tennis
•  Track and Field
•  Volleyball
•  Wushu

However, we will also consider students who have other areas of talent.

Q3: When will I know the outcome of my application?

A: We will begin notifying applicants for auditions/trials from June 2012. All results will be known by July 2012.
