This is a competition and more! We are inviting East Zone Secondary Schools to send a team of upper secondary science students to participate in this brand new forensic science challenge. Not only will your students get to pit their detective skills against other teams, they will also learn useful forensic science skills in the process! Instruction and teaching will be carried out on the spot so no prerequisite knowledge is required. We have merged a forensic science experience and competition all into one package so this is an opportunity not to be missed!

Details :

1. The competition is held on the day of the carnival, 29th July 2005 (Friday) from 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm.
2. Each team will be presented with a crime scenario and there will be several tasks/experiments to perform in order to solve the crime. Teams will be briefed on the judging criteria on the day itself so simply send us your best team of science sleuths!
3. Number of students per team : 4
   Number of teams per school : Maximum 2 teams
