23 May   2013 East Zone A*STAR Science Fair Symposium   There will be presentations by previous science fair winners and workshops conducted for the students to learn how to identify and formulate hypothesis for testing.  
4 Jun   PTC Taste Receptor Workshop   In this workshop, students will learn about the genetic basis of taste and analyse their DNA for the presence of the PTC taste receptor, TAS2R38. Note: Parental Consent is required  
4 Jun   XXX: Xplore, Xperiment, Xperience Workshop   Students often questioned the need the study chemistry and its’ relevance. Now this is the opportunity for them to explore, experiment and experience the wonders of chemistry!  
5 Jun   Project Physics: Clearing Misconceptions Workshop for Primary School Teachers   The participants will attend three sessions on the following themes: Electrical system, Interaction of forces and Energy.  
30 Jul   East Zone A*STAR Science Fair Competition   To give students the experience of conducting an investigative science project and provide students with a platform to exhibit and share their findings with others.

28 May   Make Your Personalized Mini Plant! Workshop   In this workshop that is facilitated by VJC students and teacher, student participants will make their personalized plants to bring home.  
17 Jul   East Zone A*STAR Science Fair Competition   To give students the experience of conducting an investigative science project and provide students with a platform to exhibit and share their findings with others.  
20 Jul   DSTA-DSO Robotics Challenge   Online registration for Robotics Challenge  
20 Jul   The Amazing Forensic Science Challenge 2012   Students get to pit their detective skills against other teams and they will also learn useful forensic science skills in the process!  
20 Jul   East Zone Marine Aquascaping Competition 2012   To inspire the next generation to treasure their natural heritage of the reefs and the beautiful organisms living in it. Start with a simple and easy nano marine ecosystem in school.  
20 Jul   East Zone Science Carnival 2012   The purpose of the Carnival is to promote interests in science and technology among students from primary and secondary schools. There will be fun and educational activities with prizes!  
20 Jul   East Zone Metropolis Challenge 2012   MetropolisTM, Singapore’s first ever multi-user interactive game focuses on pedagogy as much as entertainment surrounding our Environmental issues.

27 May - 28 May   Gene Amplification Workshop   The workshop will complement the biology syllabus on DNA structure and genetics. It is to equip students with fundamental molecular biology techniques ex DNA extraction, gel electrophoresis PCR etc.  
31 May   XXX: Xplore, Xperiment and Xperience   Fun and interesting workshops for students related to chemistry
