5 April 08 Youth Olympic Games 2010 Seminar
Victoria Junior College will be hosting the Youth Olympic Games (YOG) 2010 Seminar on 5 April 2008. The chief panelist is Mr Jacques Rogge, President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). Joining him as panelists will be Mr Surgey Bubka, Chairman of the YOG Coordination Commission, IOC and Mr Ng Ser Miang, IOC Executive Board Member in Singapore.

7 March 08 GCE 2007 Results Special
VJC achieved 97.2% with 2 H2 and 2 H1 Level Passes (with General Paper/Knowledge & Inquiry), while 54.5% of our students scored 3 or 4 H2 distinctions.
7 students from the class of 2007 emerged with 8 or more distinctions,
33 students with 7 Distinctions and 100 students with 6 Distinctions.
Our top students are Pingasari Tandrawijaya, Johanes Adrian Kartawidjaja, Koh Hui Chan Joyce, Chng Hu Ping, Ang Hwee Yong Eugene, and Wang Yian.
Of the 16 H2 subjects, we have 100% passes for 11 of them, while of the 17 H1 subjects, 13 of them achieved 100% passes.

The Victorians' Day will be held at VJC while the OVA Dinner is at VS.

6 January 08 Extension of Concessionary Travel for Provisional JC students
Students who are admitted to the Provisional JC intake 2008 via DSA &
PAE are to extend further the concession validity of their School Smart
Card to 30 Apr 08 with immediate effect.
Present your School Smart Cards at any Transit Link Ticket Office, Passenger Service
Centre, Add Value Machine or the Genral Ticketing Machine to extend the
concession validity of your SSC for concessionary travel.
You are advised to check and ensure the concessionary extension is successful (i.e.
concession expirty date is 30 Apr 08) when presenting the card for extension.
Students may contact Transit Link at 1800-2255663 should you encouter any problem when extending the concession.
Students who re paying fare charges through GIRO, please extend the concession validity of your cards at any of the
machines mentioned above.
